KO&L LLP APPOINTED AS CO-CHAIR OF THE LAW AND BRIEFING COMMITTEE IN LAWSUITS OVER GUIDANT CORP. DEFECTIVE IMPLANTED DEFIBRILLATORS AND PACEMAKERS
Over 100 class and individual actions on behalf of the recipients of a variety of defective implantable defibrillators and manufactured by Guidant Corp. have been centralized for prosecution in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. On January 31, 2006, the Court entered an Order which provides for the trial of approximately five representative cases to commence no later than March 15, 2007.
