KOL Files Class Action Charging a Conspiracy to Manipulate the Prices of Silver Futures and Option Contracts

On November 10, 2010, KOL filed a class action complaint against JPMorgan Chase & Co., J.P. Morgan Clearing Corp.; J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.; J.P. Morgan Futures Inc. (collectively, “JPMorgan”); HSBCHoldings PLC; HSBC Securities (USA) Inc.; and HSBC Bank USA, National Association (collectively, “HSBC”), for violations of the Section 22(a)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act (“CEA”), 7 U.S.C. § 25(a)(1), and Section 1 of the Sherman Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1. 1.
